Your contributions to the MMLA Water Quality Fund support two key programs funded by the MMLA that directly impact the quality of our water.
- Ongoing funding and organization of the NH Lake Host program, supporting hosts who greet visiting boats to Merrymeeting Lake , educate their owners on invasive weed and other threats to our water quality, and inspect the boats coming in and out of the lake
- Sponsorship of the Merrymeeting Lake Water Quality program, a program in cooperation with the University of New Hampshire Extension Service, that actively monitors and tests the quality and clarity of Merrymeeting Lake water on a weekly basis
